Rhodes scholar? Check. NBA star? Check. Senator? Check! He’s had a wildly successful life, and it’s hard to dislike Bill Bradley (or easy to despise him, if you’re one of those cynical folks who can’t stand the thought of others’ victories). Regardless, Bradley is a retired legislator and former presidential candidate who undoubtedly understands the inner workings of Washington. Bradley’s new book, We Can All Do Better, provides a thoughtful examination of how money is used and abused in contemporary politics—and how citizens and politicians of all stripes could work to improve the political landscape for the good of society.
